Disney always worked from storyboards (they invented them), a visual form of writing and when they began using &quot;real&quot; writers who not only had quite a bit of intellectual contempt for animation but also ignorance of the power of essential visual elements, there was bound to be trouble.  Of course, animators and artists can be arrogant and difficult too, especially those who can write and draw and direct. :-)</description>
